Sunday's WHL Roundup @NHL

Colby Robak scored his second goal of the game 2:12 into overtime to lift the Brandon Wheat Kings to a wild 8-7 win over the Regina Pats in the Western Hockey League on Sunday.

Matt Calvert picked up two goals and four assists, while Brayden Schenn had two goals and three assists for the Wheat Kings, who improved to 13-9-2. Alexander Urbom and Jesse Sinatynski, with his first WHL goal, also scored for Brandon.

Jordan Eberle replied with two goals and three assists for the Pats, who battled back from a 7-3 deficit with four straight goals in the last half of the third period to force overtime. Brett Leffler and Matt Strueby added two goals apiece for the 10-11-3 Pats, while Jordan Weal tallied a goal and three assists for Regina.

Elsewhere in the WHL it was: Swift Current 5 Edmonton 4 (SO); Seattle 5 Vancouver 0; Chilliwack 5 Portland 4; Kootenay 3 Lethbridge 2 (OT); and Spokane 1 Kelowna 0.

At Brandon, Wheat Kings netminder Jacob De Serres made 38 saves, while Dawson Guhle stopped three of six shots for Regina, before being replaced by Damien Ketlo, who made 19 saves on 24 shots.

At Swift Current, Sask., Justin Dowling scored the lone shootout goal as the Broncos beat Edmonton.


Thunderbirds 5 Giants 0

At Vancouver, Calvin Pickard made 25 saves for his second straight shutout as Seattle blanked the Giants.


Bruins 5 Winterhawks 4

At Portland, Ore., Ryan Howse and Roman Horak both had a pair of goals to lead Chilliwack over the Winterhawks.


Ice 3 Hurricanes 2 (OT)

At Lethbridge, Alta., Matt Fraser scored in overtime as Kootenay Ice edged the Hurricanes.


Chiefs 1 Rockets 0

At Spokane, Wash., Brady Brassart scored and James Reid made 26 saves as Spokane Chiefs blanked the Rockets.
