Subban makes 39 saves, Payerl scores twice as Bulls blank Wolves 2-0 @NHLdotcom

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Malcolm Subban stopped all 39 shots he faced as the Belleville Bulls shutout the visiting Sudbury Wolves 2-0 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Adam Payerl scored both goals for the Bulls (35-22-1), who finish the season as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

Justin Sefton and Frank Corrado were both minus-2 for the Wolves (35-26-6), who have lost three straight and currently sit fifth in the East.

Joel Vienneau turned away 34 shots in a losing effort.

Belleville went 0 for 2 on the power play while Sudbury failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.
