Strueby scores twice in regulation, once in shootout as Pats edge Blades @NHLdotcom

REGINA - Matt Strueby scored twice in regulation and added a shootout goal as the Regina Pats beat the Saskatoon Blades 4-3 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Brett Leffler also scored in the shootout while Tomas Hricina scored the other regulation goal for the Pats (1-2-0).

Burke Gallimore had two goals and an assist and Derek Hulak a goal and two assists for the Blades (1-0-1), who failed to beat Dawson Guhle on either of their chances in the shootout.

Guhle made 29 regulation saves for the Pats, while Adam Morrison stopped 22 shots for the Blades.
