Strong second period lifts the Broncosover the Raiders 3-2 @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos scored three unanswered goals in the second period to secure a 3-2 win over the visiting Prince Albert Raiders Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Graham Black, Ryon Moser and Richard Nedomlel all scored for the Broncos (7-9-2) during a 8:07 span of the middle period, with Moser and Nodomlel scoring on the power play.

Mark McNeill and Todd Fiddler scored for the Raiders (5-13-2).

Swift Current goaltender Jon Groenheyde turned aside 34 of 36 shots.

Prince Albert goaltender Eric Williams allowed three goals on 28 shots.
