BRANDON, Man. - Rookie Mark Stone scored two goals and set up another to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 7-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders in the Western Hockey League on Friday night.
The Wheat Kings broke open a 3-2 game by scoring four unanswered goals in the last 10 minutes and 34 seconds of the third period.
Jay Fehr, Andrew Clark, Mark Schneider, Nathan Green and Matt Lowry scored single goals while Brayden Schenn dished out four assists for the Wheat Kings (27-13-3-1).
Dustin Cameron and Justin Bernhardt replied for the Raiders (22-24-2-1).
Brandon netminder James Priestner made 16 saves, while Garrett Zemlak stopped 40 shots for Prince Albert.
