Steven Stamkos scores the overtime winner as Sarnia edges Windsor @NHLdotcom

SARNIA, Ont. - Steven Stamkos scored a pair, including the overtime winner, as the Sarnia Sting edged the Windsor Spitfires 6-5 in OHL action Friday night.

Matt Martin also scored twice for Sarnia (34-27-2-0), while Justin DiBenedetto chipped in with a goal and three assists. Vladimir Nikiforov had the other goal.

Bradley Snetsinger got two for Windsor (37-15-6-5), while Joshua Bailey, Rob Kwiet and Taylor Hall also counted.

Andrew Perugini made 35 saves for the Sting, while Jakub Kovar turned away 31 shots for the Spitfires.
