Stephenson scores winner as the Pats edge the Rebels 3-2
NHL.com @NHLdotcomREGINA - Chandler Stephenson scored the winning goal with only 16 seconds remaining in the third period as the Regina Pats edged the visiting Red Deer Rebels 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Colton Jobke had a goal and an assist for the Pats (3-4-0) while Trent Ouellette chipped in with two assists.
Dyson Stevenson added a single goal to round out Regina's offence.
Colten Mayor and Devan Fafard each scored for the Rebels (2-4-1).
Matt Hewitt stopped 27 shots for the win as Bolton Pouliot made 18 saves in a losing effort.
Neither club could take advantage of their power play as Regina went 0-for-8 and Red Deer 0-for-6.
