Stepan scores twice in third, Rangers top Devils @NHLdotcom

Derek Stepan scored two third-period goals to help the New York Rangers to a come-from-behind 4-3 preseason win against the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center on Saturday.

After Reid Boucher gave the Devils a 1-0 lead 2:34 into the second period, Rangers defenseman Raphael Diaz scored two power-play goals for a 2-1 lead.

Stefan Matteau tied it with 38 seconds left in the period, and Kyle Palmieri gave New Jersey a 3-2 lead 31 seconds into the third.

Stepan scored at 7:23 and 13:12. He also had two assists.

Henrik Lundqvist made 23 saves for the Rangers; Cory Schneider made 20 for the Devils.
