Steele Boomer bags overtime winner as Ice beat Blades 4-3 @NHL

CRANBROOK, B.C. - Kootenay Ice forward Steele Boomer scored at 3:39 of overtime in a 4-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades in WHL action on Sunday night.

Dustin Sylvester scored a pair and Steve DaSilva forced overtime with a late 3rd period goal.

Blades defenceman Jiri Niemi had two goals and Derek Hulak had the other.

Thomas Heemskerk walked away with the win, blocking 26 shots, while goalie Garrett Zemlak turned in a 22-save performance in the loss for Saskatoon, who outshot the Ice 29-26.
