LONDON - The puck didn't drop on time Saturday.
The start of the NHL's regular-season opener between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks was delayed 16 minutes by faulty lights at the new 02 Arena.
Players on both teams were sent back to their respective dressing rooms while the arena staff worked to turn on all the lights.
Once play began, the Kings never looked back in a 4-1 victory over the Ducks. The same two clubs get together again in Sunday's rematch.
