awards suit split

NHL stars were ready to rock and roll in Nashville.

Nominees showed off their unique style at the 2023 NHL Awards red carpet at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Monday.

Edmonton Oilers goalie Stuart Skinner brought a personal flair with mustache cuff links to compliment his navy suit.

San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson had his finger on this summer's fashion trends rocking a light purple suit.

Seattle Kraken forward Matty Beniers had a little help with his maroon and black look.

"A little bit of stuff from the guys because I don't have enough suits…it's just a maroon suit, black neck on the top," Beniers said on the red carpet. "I wanted to do something a little bit different. Keep it classy, so that was kind of the goal."

Boston Bruins goalie Linus Ullmark and David Pastrnak lived up to expectations of being the best dressed.

Ullmark wore a custom designed tuxedo by Tom Marchitelli which featured a silk black swirl design.

"We [Marchitelli] have a longtime running [relationship] ever since I was in Rochester like eight years ago and we saw the fabric and we were like we got to go with that one," Ullmark said on the carpet. "It was a winner in our eyes right from the start."

Pastrnak rocked a black and white pattern straight from his closet.

Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk wore a blue floral design.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitchell Marner wore a studded suit which featured a picture of his dog Zeus on the inside of the jacket.
