Stars re-sign forward Glennie to one-year contract

Forward Scott Glennie was re-signed to a one-year, two-way contract by the Dallas Stars, the team announced Thursday. No other terms were disclosed.

Glennie, 23, was the Stars' first-round pick in the 2009 NHL Draft but has played only one NHL game with Dallas, on April 7, 2012. He has spent the past three seasons with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, and had a career-high 15 goals and 28 points in 2013-14. He also scored six goals and had 10 points in 20 games to help Texas win the Calder Cup.
