Stars place goalie Rynnas on unconditional waivers @NHLdotcom

Dallas Stars goaltender Jussi Rynnas was placed on unconditional waivers Thursday, the Stars announced.

Rynnas, 28, played two games with the Stars this season, including one start, a 5-2 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Dec. 4. In 39 games with the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League, he was 22-6-8 with a 2.53 goals-against average and .920 save percentage.

He has played in five NHL games in parts of three seasons for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Stars, going 0-2-0 with a 4.17 GAA and .844 save percentage.
