Stars' Ott suspended pending hearing
NHL.com @NHLdotcomNEW YORK (March 1, 2009) – Dallas Stars forward Steve Ott has been suspended without pay, pending a hearing, for receiving a match penalty for intent to injure at the end of NHL game #925 Saturday afternoon.
Ott was assessed a match penalty under NHL rule 21.1 (attempt to injure) for his actions during an altercation with Anaheim forward Travis Moen following the third period’s final buzzer.
