Welp, Jamie Benn won't be needing this anymore.

The Dallas Stars captain channeled his inner Bo Jackson, celebrating his game-winning goal in overtime on Saturday against the St. Louis Blues by snapping his stick over his right knee.

Now, if you have an inquiring mind, you might ask why Benn would snap a stick that has been good to him, as breaking a piece of equipment is usually an athlete's way of venting frustration.

But Benn has your answer.

"It was just a bad batch of sticks tonight," Benn said.

Fair enough.
