BRAMPTON, Ont. - Thomas Stajan's power play goal at 9:24 of the third period stood as the winner, and Matt Duchene and Jason Dale added short-handed breakaway goals later in the period as the Brampton Battalion beat the Peterborough Petes 5-2 on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Rookie Craig Moore gave the home side a 2-0 lead at 2:11 of the second period with his first career OHL goal before Pat Daley brought the visitors to within one on a power-play goal at 1:11 of the third. Chad Lowry scored the other goal for Peterborough.

Brandon Foote stopped 15 of 17 shots for the Battalion while Missiaen made 46 saves on 51 shots.
