St. Louis returns to Bolts' lineup @NHL
The Tampa Bay Lightning got a boost Wednesday night with the return of All-Star forward Martin St. Louis to the lineup against San Jose after missing nearly two weeks with facial fractures.

St. Louis was injured on Dec. 8 during the morning skate before Tampa Bay's game against the Rangers in New York when a backhander from teammate Dominic Moore missed the net and hit him in the face. Instead of playing his 500th consecutive regular-season game that night, St. Louis was hospitalized with a broken nose and a fracture of his orbital bone. His eye was swollen and had a blood clot develop, which forced him to abstain from physical activity until the clot dissipated.

He missed five games, but was able to practice with the Lightning on Tuesday while wearing a full cage and was in the starting lineup against the Sharks.

St. Louis, 36, has nine goals and 22 points in 27 games this season.
