ST. LOUIS - NHL All-Star Weekend is just around the corner, and the city is making all their preparations to host the big event for the first time since 1988.
Here are just some ways the city is getting ready:

  • Crews installed new street signs in downtown St. Louis on Tuesday afternoon. Just in front of Enterprise Center, Clark Avenue has been named All-Star Avenue, while Market Street features new street signs bearing the name All-Star Way.
    - Street pole banners around Enterprise Center have been updated to include the NHL All-Star Game and NHL Fan Fair logos. Fan Fair will be held at St. Louis Union Station from Jan. 23 - 26 and will feature four days of family-friendly hockey interactive games and attractions, special appearances, trophy and memorabilia displays and more!
    - Local businesses, schools and even residences are displaying their "Let's Go Blues" banners to show their pride and show the world just how big of a hockey town St. Louis really is. These signs usually get displayed during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
