Sean Ferrell went back to school on Sunday. Then he did a little rocking out.
The St. Louis Blues video coach brought the Stanley Cup to his alma mater, St. Louis University High School. Ferrell, a native of St. Louis, graduated in 1988.
He posed for pictures with the Cup on the ice with the Junior Bills hockey team, which won the state championship this year, then took the Cup for some live music.
St. Louis rock band The Urge, who composed the team's goal song, played a private concert for Ferrell, the Cup and some 600 friends on Sunday night.
Prior to the show, Ferrell raised the Cup on stage in front of the audience.
Earlier, Ferrell had a family gathering at the Webster Groves recreational center, then welcomed over 500 people who had their picture taken with the Cup. They walked the Cup through the aquatic center as a surprise and had pictures taken with Webster Groves first responders.
