St. Louis Blues sign goaltender Chris Holt @NHLdotcom

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues signed goaltender Chris Holt on Thursday.

Holt played in two games with the Peoria Rivermen this season, posting a 2-0-0 record, a .915 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.

The 6-3, 221-pound goalie, who spent the last three seasons in the New York Rangers system, saw one game of NHL action in 2005-06 with the Rangers. Last season, Holt split time between the ECHL's Charlotte Checkers and the Hartford Wolf Pack.

The Surrey, B.C., native was originally drafted by the Rangers in the sixth round, 180th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
