The forward would have to clear protocol to play at the Colorado Avalanche in the opener of the best-of-7 series.
Perron led the Blues with 58 points (19 goals, 39 assists) and scored 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in the final 11 regular-season games. He was the first point-per-game player for St. Louis since Pavol Demitra scored 93 points in 78 games in 2002-03.
Perron scored 21 power-play points (six goals, 15 assists) this season, and scored seven points (two goals, five assists) in eight games against the Avalanche (3-5-0).
"We played them well at times this year, and the other times, they put it in the back of our net quite easily if we don't do the right things," Perron said. "There's going to be a lot more intensity, a lot more details that are required to have success. We know what kind of firepower they have over there. Also being disciplined. Our power play's been coming around more and more as the year's gone on, but we also know how good they are on their side and we'll have to be really sharp."
Perron scored 16 points (seven goals, nine assists) in 26 playoff games when the Blues won the Stanley Cup in 2019.

and defenseman Jake Walman also are in protocol.
Walker scored one goal in eight games this season and played one game since March 20. Walman scored one goal with one assist in 24 games this season; he played 16 games since April 2.
Forward Vladimir Tarasenko and defenseman Vince Dunn were full participants in an optional skate Saturday.
Tarasenko (lower body) missed eight of the last nine regular-season games, and Dunn (upper body) missed the last 11 games.
"We'll see if they're ready Monday," Blues coach Craig Berube said. "They could be ready, I'll have to see how they felt today.
"... It wasn't a total full skate. Some guys were off for maintenance, but tomorrow, we'll see them in a full skate in Colorado."
