St. Jacques stops 46 to hold off Whalers as Guelph escapes with 2-1 win

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Cody St. Jacques stopped 46 of 47 shots as the Guelph Storm escaped with a 2-1 win over the Plymouth Whalers Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Conor O'Donnell and Carter Sendlak scored for the Storm (10-9-1).

Josh Brittain had the lone goal for Plymouth (12-9-0), which was without top scorer Tyler Seguin.

Whalers netminder Matt Hackett stopped 36 shots.
