St. Croix scores three straight goals, leads Oil Kings over Cougars @NHL

EDMONTON - Michael St. Croix, scored three straight goals and Laurent Brossoit made 26 saves as the Edmonton Oil Kings blanked the Prince George Cougars 5-0 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Tyler Maxwell and Cody Corbett also scored for the Oil Kings.

Drew Owsley was spectacular in a losing effort, making 50 saves for the Cougars.

Edmonton (30-11-5) maintained its six-point lead over Moose Jaw for first place in the Eastern Conference.

Prince George (15-27-2) has scored a league-low 100 goals so far this season.
