Lightning win Stanley Cup during NHL bubble

The Tampa Bay Lightning may have won the Stanley Cup, but the thousands of workers inside the bubble cities of Edmonton and Toronto made it all possible.

The League and Sportsnet thanked the men and women behind the scenes who made its Stanley Cup Playoff bubbles an unquestioned success by dedicating "Hockey Night in Canada's" annual playoff montage to those behind the scenes.
The Hockey Night montage, with its memorable moments and images set to music unveiled just minutes after the Cup is awarded, is among the most highly anticipated moments of each hockey season. But with the COVID-19 pandemic creating unique circumstances, with a 24-team postseason tournament set in bubbles without fans in both Toronto and Edmonton, Sportsnet signed off for the year with something extra for 2020.

The montage still featured highlights from the Lightning's Cup win but also showed everyone from television crew members to cleaning staff working to make the postseason a success.
The NHL's official Twitter account also made certain to show its appreciation for all those who made the postseason possible despite the still-going pandemic.
