Spokane's power-play unit scores three as Chiefs beat Thunderbirds 4-0 @NHL

SEATTLE - The Spokane Chiefs scored three power-play goals on five opportunities to beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 4-0 in WHL action Sunday night.

Trevor Glass opened the scoring for the Chiefs with his fifth goal and also had an assist.

Kenton Miller had his first goal of the season and Stefan Ulmer and Jared Spurgeon also scored for Spokane (22-11-0-3). Rookie goaltender James Reid stopped 25 shots for the shutout.

Seattle (14-19-1-2) lost for the second straight game. Spokane, which outshot Seattle 43-25, won its second in a row.
