Spitfires avenge opening-game loss with 4-0 victory over Plymouth @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - The Windsor Spitfires avenged their season-opening loss to the Plymouth Whalers back on Sept. 17 with a dominant 4-0 win in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Rookie goalie Troy Passingham stopped all 29 shots he faced for his third shutout of the season.

Adam Henrique had a goal and an assist for Windsor (9-3-1), while Greg Nemisz, Richard Panik and Justin Shugg also scored. Eric Wellwood added two assists for the Spitfires.

For the Whalers (7-5-0), Matt Hackett made 28 saves.

The game also served as a showcase two top-rated prospects for the 2010 NHL draft. Windsor's Taylor Hall finished with one assist and OHL scoring leader Tyler Seguin was minus-4 on the night for Plymouth.
