Spencer Asuchak's hat trick powers Chicago Wolves past Manitoba Moose 8-2 @NHL

CHICAGO - Spencer Asuchak had a hat trick as the Chicago Wolves crushed the Manitoba Moose 8-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Andre Benoit scored and added two assists for Chicago (10-6-2), while Ty Rattie, Pat Cannone, Yannick Veilleux and Jordan Caron rounded out the attack. Pheonix Copley made 35 saves for the win.

John Albert and Chase De Leo replied for Manitoba (5-12-2), the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets. Eric Comrie stopped 20 shots for the Moose.

The Wolves went 1 for 4 on the power play, while Manitoba was 1 for 8.
