Sorkin scores twice, including winner, as Bulldogs topple Stars 4-3

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Nick Sorkin struck twice ? including the winner at 12:13 of the third period ? and Mike Condon stopped 41 shots as the Hamilton Bulldogs came from behind to edge the host Texas Stars 4-3 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Brandon McNally and Eric Tangradi also scored for the Bulldogs (33-27-12), who trailed 3-2 early in the third period.

Justin Dowling, Branden Troock and Derek Hulak supplied the scoring for the Stars (36-22-14), who had their four-game win streak halted.

Jussi Rynnas turned away 32-of-36 shots for Texas.

Hamilton is now one point behind the Toronto Marlies for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with four regular-season games remaining.

The Bulldogs went 0 for 3 on the power play while the Stars scored once on two chances with the man advantage.
