Sonne scores twice, Postma scores 20th as the Hitmen ice Kootenay 4-2 @NHL

CALGARY - Brett Sonne scored twice to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-2 win over the Kootenay Ice in WHL action Sunday night.

Brandon Kozun and Paul Postma also scored for the Hitmen (47-7-3-1), while Kyle Bortis set up a pair of goals.

Postma scored his 20th goal of the season to extend his goal-scoring streak to five games. He is the first Hitmen defenceman to ever accomplish that feat and the first to reach the 20-goal mark as well.

Kevin King and Drew Czerwonka scored for the Ice (26-22-2-6), who built up a 2-1 lead after the first period before the Hitmen responded with three straight goals.

Calgary goalie Martin Jones made 18 saves to record his league-leading 35th win of the season. Hitmen netminder Todd Mathews stopped 31 shots at the other end.
