Tributes from players, celebrities and the hockey community poured in for Charles Wang, the former New York Islanders majority owner who
died at the age of 74 on Sunday
.

Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo, who played his first seven NHL seasons with the Islanders, remembered Wang as a "kind person who had an extremely unique way of looking at the world."

Arizona Coyotes forward Michael Grabner, claimed off waivers by the Islanders from the Florida Panthers on Oct. 5, 2010, also shared his condolences. Grabner rewarded the Islanders' faith in him by scoring 34 goals and finishing third in Calder Trophy voting.
