Smith stops 40 of 41 shots as Niagara defeats the Frontenacs 4-1 @NHL

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Jeremy Smith stopped 40 of 41 shots for the second straight game to lead the Niagara IceDogs past the Kingston Frontenacs 4-1 on Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Smith made 40 saves on Saturday against the Owen Sound Attack in a 2-1 win for the IceDogs.

Andrew Agozzino had a goal and an assist, while Marco Insam, Thomas Middup and Chris DeSousa also scored for Niagara (24-23-4-6).

Ethan Werek scored for the Frontenacs (12-34-6-3). Kingston netmidner John Cullen stopped 27 shots.
