Slovakia forward Tomas Kopecky on Saturday became the second Florida Panthers player to leave a game with an injury at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
Kopecky sustained an apparent upper-body injury in the first period when he collided with Slovenia's Sabahudin Kovacevic. He did not return for the second.
Panthers rookie forward Aleksander Barkov left Finland's game against Norway on Friday early in the third period with a lower-body injury. It is unknown if Barkov will play Sunday against Canada (Noon ET; USA, CBC).
Kopecky and Barkov are the only Panthers participating in the tournament.
