ISLANDERS (27-13-1) at BLUE JACKETS (18-18-3)

COLUMBUS -- Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jack Skille will be out for at least two weeks because of a lower-body injury, coach Todd Richards said prior to game against the New York Islanders in Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Richards also said goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky would start following a 5-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday.

“Do we think [Bobrovsky] is rested enough to come in and play the game? We feel, yes, he is,” Richards said.

Skille sustained the injury during the game against Toronto and will be replaced by forward Corey Tropp, a healthy scratch the past two games. Skille has seven points (five goals) in 35 games.

Jeremy Morin will go from the left side on the fourth line to right wing on the third with center Alexander Wennberg and left wing Sean Collins. Tropp will take Morin’s spot on the fourth line.

The Blue Jackets (18-18-3) will make another move with defenseman Cody Goloubef out for Dalton Prout, who was scratched the past three games.

If Skille goes on injured reserve, he will join five other Blue Jackets: Artem Anisimov, Brian Gibbons, Nathan Horton, Boone Jenner and Ryan Murray. Columbus has 254 man games lost to injury this season.

The Islanders (27-13-1) are at 146 lost but left wing Mikhail Grabovski will add to the total after he sustained a lower-body injury during a 3-2 overtime win at the New Jersey Devils on Friday. Forward Cal Clutterbuck will replace him and is expected to play on the fourth line.
