Hockey, anyone?

The Vegas Golden Knights added one of the world's best tennis players to their fan club on Friday as Simona Halep posed for a photo holding up a jersey and promising to take in a game soon.

Halep, the 2018 French Open and 2019 Wimbeldon champion, held up a No. 13 Golden Knights jersey in front of a sign for the 2019 U.S. Open. Halep is in New York for her first round match against Nicole Gibbs on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights were more than happy to welcome the Romanian tennis star to the fan base.

If only they'd gifted Halep a white road jersey she could have worn it to defend her title at Wimbeldon.
