Silas scores go-ahead goal as Belleville beats the Frontenacs 2-1 @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - Stephen Silas scored the eventual game-winner late in the second period as the Belleville Bulls topped the Kingston Frontenacs 2-1 on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Stephen Johnson had a goal and an assist for the Bulls (2-3-0-0), while Matthew Tipoff added two assists. Michael Farrell scored the lone goal for Kingston (4-3-0-0) on a power play with nine seconds remaining in the first period, upping his point total to 10 (five goals, five assists) in seven games.

The game was marred by a brawl with three seconds left in the third period. 20 minutes in penalties and six misconducts were handed out to the six players involved.

Philipp Grubauer made 42 saves for Belleville, while Frontenacs netminder Tyler Beskorowany stopped 28 shots.
