Golden Knights mascot arrives at Cup Final in car from 'Knight Rider'

Chance the Gila Monster pulls up at T-Mobile Arena in KITT @NHLdotcom

Jonathan Marchessault isn't the only Vegas Golden Knights employee with a sick ride.

Chance, the Golden Knights mascot, drove to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final in a replica of KITT, the car from the car from the 1980s show "Knight Rider," only this car was themed after everyone's favorite record-shattering expansion team.

Marchessault has been pulling up to Stanley Cup Playoff games at T-Mobile Arena in a gold Lamborghini convertible with Golden Knights-logo decals and the team mantra "Vegas Born" on the doors. The Golden Knights had not lost on games when he drove the car to the rink as of Monday, and it's been quite the sight around Las Vegas.

"All the fans recognize the car," Marchessault said. "They know I'm driving it, so they're all excited. They honk at me. It's pretty awesome."

But Chance, never one to be upstaged, found his own killer Vegas-themed car just in time for the Golden Knights championship-round debut against the Washington Capitals.

Somewhere, we imagine Michael Knight (or David Hasselhoff) is smiling.
