A Vegas Golden Knights fan hit the jackpot Saturday.

Ruben Lopez won $30,000 and a slew of other prizes by hitting five consecutive shots from center ice during the second intermission of Vegas' 1-0 win against the New York Islanders.

Lopez had never shot a puck with a hockey stick before but became the first person in Vegas' three-season existence to win the grand prize. After hitting the first four, which earned him tickets to a Cirque du Soleil show, a $300 dining and spa credit and a two-night getaway, Lopez scored the grand prize and was mobbed by the Vegas Golden Knight and mascot Chance the Gila Monster.
"I just said 'I'm going to stay calm and do my best,'" Ruben told the Golden Knights Twitter account. "I'm speechless. I don't know what to say."
His wife Racheal went wild as well.

After the exuberance of his accomplishment wore off, Lopez came up with a specific purchase when asked what he'd do with his winnings.
"A down payment on our house," he said.
