Nylander, Laine to appear on cover of NHL 19 in Sweden, Finland

Two of the brightest young faces of hockey are also now faces of EA Sports NHL 19.

Forwards William Nylander and Patrik Laine will each be featured on the video game's cover exclusively in Sweden and Finland.
Nylander, who was born in Calgary but has represented Sweden in multiple international tournaments, was chosen because of his elite playmaking skills. The forward has 135 points in 185 games with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
"It's a pleasure to be on the cover for the Swedish version NHL 19," Nylander said. "It's a bit of a childhood dream I've had since I was little."

Laine, who has 80 goals in 155 NHL games with the Winnipeg Jets, was picked to represent Finland because of his world-class goal scoring prowess. He called his cover appearance a dream come true.

for the North American version of NHL 19, and the beta edition is available for download now. The game will be available for purchase worldwide Sept. 14.
