OSG-workout

Hockey players don't skip leg day, even if they skip the gym on leg day.

New Jersey Devils forward Nikita Gusev, Washington Capitals defenseman Dmitry Orlov and Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Mikhail Sergachev were recorded doing a pretty intense leg workout on what appears to be a bicycle path in a park in Moscow.

Orlov and his cohorts execute one-legged double jumps with the first leap being horizontal and the second one being vertical. After landing the second jump, they jump to their other leg horizontally and again vertically without stopping for even a quick pause. During the continuous jumping, the opposite foot never touches the ground.
Trainer Sergey Gvozdev, who has worked with Orlov and Sergachev as well as Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin and St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev in the past, posted the unique-looking workout to Instagram. In the caption, Gvozdev wrote "Continue to burn .... preseason in full swing."
If there is a name for this workout, we are definitely not in good enough shape to even know it. But be warned, reader, just watching the video wore us out.
