Gritty made it to Toronto on Sunday.
Not that Toronto.

The Philadelphia Flyers mascot mistakenly went to Toronto, Ohio, while trying to support the team in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Gritty left Sunday morning, announcing on Twitter he was on his way to the East hub city ahead of the Flyers' Eastern Conference Second Round series against the New York Islanders.
He shared progress of his trip, which included rock skipping in the "Niagara River" and scootering through town.

Unfortunately he didn't realize he'd taken a wrong turn and ended up about 340 miles southwest in the American city of about 5,000 instead of Canada's largest city.

After a failed attempt at reaching Commissioner Gary Bettman for an explanation, Gritty headed back to Philadelphia to cheer on the Flyers at home.

He later admitted he'd learned a valuable lesson.
"Some may say I made mistakes, but I'm a better mascot for this," Gritty said in a statement released by the Flyers.
"The quest continues. To quote my old friend Bono, 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for.'"
