MIN@VAN: Canucks players' dogs race at game

The competition was ruff, but Tanner Pearson's dog was the best in show.

The Vancouver Canucks hosted a dog race where the players dogs competed on the ice during second intermission. Emma Pearson, the family dog of Tanner and Meaghan Pearson, was the big winner.
Some Canucks players handicapped their dogs chances in leading up to the race.

Emma beat out five other dogs for the title and now has roughly a full year of bragging rights.
