Cam Atkinson better watch out: There's a new Atkinson man winning the hearts of Columbus Blue Jackets fans.

Declan Atkinson, the Blue Jackets forward's adorable almost nine-month-old son, charmed the crowd after Columbus' public intrasquad scrimmage at Nationwide Arena.

Instagram from @camatkinson13: Thanks to the fans for showing up today. You guys made Declan's day 😃 #sickflow #gingersforthewin

Atkinson took Declan, who will be nine months old Wednesday, for a post-practice twirl to acknowledge the 5,000-plus fans who came out to support the Blue Jackets on Monday. The Atkinsons headed for the locker room, but Cam spun quickly and made Declan give one more wave to the crowd.

"Gets them every time," Cam said as they exited the ice.

The Atkinsons weren't the only Blue Jackets to acknowledge the eye-popping fan support, especially as Columbus waits to find out their Eastern Conference Second Round opponent after sweeping the Presidents' Trophy-winning Tampa Bay Lightning, and posted their appreciation on social media.
