The Boston Bruins ruined Justin Bieber's night, and David Pastrnak didn't exactly say sorry.

The Bruins forward chirped the pop superstar and famous Maple Leafs fan after Boston eliminated Toronto with a 5-1 win in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference First Round on Tuesday.

Tweet from @pastrnak96: Not today @justinbieber #BostonStrong

Bieber and his wife, Hailey, were in attendance at TD Garden in hopes of watching the Maple Leafs advance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time in 2004.

Throughout the series, Bieber posted three separate Maple Leafs logos on Instagram during the best-of-7 series, including a pair of prayers for Toronto wins.

Instagram from @justinbieber: Dear lord please be with Austin Mathews, Mitch Marner and all of the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight as they play game 7 against the Boston bruins..

But Boston scored three third-period goals and ousted Toronto for the third time in seven seasons. Pastrnak also left a comment for Bieber on Instagram.

The Bruins captain, Zdeno Chara, brimming with good vibes after the win, decided to get on Instagram after the win to thank fans. Forward Brad Marchand then busts into the frame and throws down the gauntlet to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Instagram from @zeechara33: Thank you Boston for bringing your best tonight.#madeforthis

The Bruins will play in the Eastern Conference Second Round againt the Blue Jackets starting Thursday (7 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS).
