KENNEWICK, Wash. - Brendan Shinnimin had a four-point game with two goals and two assists on Friday night to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 5-1 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League action.
Adam Hughesman and Patrick Holland each added a goal and two assists for Tri-City (26-7-0), and Connor Rankin chipped in a goal and an assist.
Chance Lund scored Seattle?s (13-16-5) lone goal.
Eric Comrie stopped 24 of 25 shots to pick up his 12th win of the season while Calvin Pickard finished with 25 saves in defeat.
The Thunderbirds allowed three power-play goals and were 0-for-6 on the power play.
The Americans, who have won seven in a row, lead the Western Hockey League with 52 points.
