Shawn Matthias has goal, assist as Belleville tops Peterborough 3-2 @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Shawn Matthias scored the winner as the Belleville Bulls beat the Peterborough Petes 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Matt Beleskey had a goal and an assist for the Bulls (11-4-1-1) while ex-Pete Brendan Taylor also scored. P.K. Subban had two assists.

Pat Daley and Brett Theberge scored for the Petes (8-8-0-1), who suffered their sixth straight loss.

Ed Pasquale made 20 saves for the win while Petes goalie Trevor Cann stopped 31 in a losing cause.
