Buffalo had the day off yesterday and they'll look to bounce back from the 3-1 loss to Winnipeg on Sunday. The Penguins defeated the Flyers 4-1 last night, giving them 65 points on the season, four ahead of the Sabres (Buffalo has a game in hand). Pittsburgh currently holds the second Wild Card berth and is four points behind Montreal, who hold the first Wild Card.
The home stretch wraps up Friday night against the Rangers as the Sabres look to continue to make up ground.
