Evander Kane will not participate in training camp for the San Jose Sharks until further notice.

The forward was alleged to have bet on NHL games, including those involving the Sharks. The
NHL announced Wednesday there was no evidence to support those claims following an investigation
.
"The investigation uncovered no evidence to corroborate Ms. Kane's accusations that Mr. Kane bet or otherwise participated in gambling on NHL games, and no evidence to corroborate the allegations that Mr. Kane 'threw' games or did not put forward his best effort to help the Sharks win games," the NHL statement said. "To the contrary, the evidence raises doubts about the veracity of the allegations."
However, two additional allegations involving Kane'are now being investigated.
"The San Jose Sharks are aware of additional allegations that are unrelated to the National Hockey League's initial investigation of Evander Kane," the Sharks said in a statement Thursday. "We take the allegations very seriously and have been in communication with the NHL. The League will continue to have our full cooperation regarding the ongoing investigation."
Kane was listed on the training camp roster. He led the Sharks with 22 goals and 49 points in 56 games last season.
Selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the first round (No. 4) of the 2009 NHL Draft, Kane has scored 506 points (264 goals, 242 assists) and has 988 penalty minutes in 769 regular-season games with the Sharks, Buffalo Sabres, Winnipeg Jets and Thrashers and 13 points (six goals, seven assists) in 29 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
"Well, it's not ideal," San Jose general manager Doug Wilson said. "But there is an ongoing investigation from the NHL. And we released our statement. The focus has to be on our guys here today and the things that we can control, but also respect the process going through dealing with some very serious allegations and things that need to be addressed."
