The San Jose Sharks are conjuring a science-fiction phenomenon to try to rebound in the Stanley Cup Final.

As part of the first Cup Final home game in franchise history, fans will receive shirts and towels themed from the Syfy's "Sharknado" movie series for Game 3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at SAP Center on Saturday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).

San Jose trails the best-of-7 series 2-0 after two one-goal losses in Pittsburgh.

The "Sharknado" series stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid and tells the story of a unique weather pattern where tornadoes of sharks ravage parts of the United States, including New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

But if the Sharks are hoping to win their first Cup Final game, they may want to keep Ziering's Fin Shepard character away. Shepard has successfully fended off the sharks in each of the first three movies.
