Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Forward Matt Nieto chats about buying a new house in the offseason and being excited to be back with the team.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
Making it to the Stanley Cup Final was such a cool experience.
Where did you go on vacation this summer?
It was a short summer so I didn't go on any vacation this offseason. I just got a new house in Orange County so I was busy with that. It's about 45 minutes from home so it's pretty nice.

Any good movies, tv shows or book you watched or read during the offseason?
I just finished Stranger Things on Nexflix. It's a great show. I think I finished the series in two days. I was addicted to it and was binge-watching.
Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
I would have to say Chris Tierney or Melker Karlsson. Those are two guys that I hang out with a lot during the season.
What is your individal focus for training camp and this season?
I'm just trying to work on getting better everyday. I'm trying to prove myself and play to my ability. I want to impress the coaches and get a good start to the season.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
Just hanging around with the guys again. It's always sad when you're away during the offseason. It's a nice break but once you're back you just enjoy the guys company.
