Sharks Camp Snapshot: Dylan DeMelo

Sharks Camp Snapshot is a quick chance to catch up with the guys from what they've done over the summer break to where their focus is entering Training Camp ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Catch up with defenseman Dylan DeMelo below and see what he was up to this summer.
What was your favorite memory from last season?
Going to the Final was definitely my favorite memory. What an amazing journey and roller coaster ride that was. It was a lot of fun! As a kid you always dream of going to the Final, so I can't wait to get there again.
Where did you go on vacation this summer?
I went to Iceland for a week with my fiancé. It's a beautiful place with so many waterfalls, mountains and volcanoes that you don't get to see every day back home. It's a very unique place! After that I just hung out and got some things taken care of around the house. I saw my family and friends and got some work outs in.

Any good movies, tv shows or book you watched or read during the offseason?
Oh I'm big on Netflix! I'm watching Narcos right now. I finished up Bad Lion about a week ago. I also just finished up Last Chance U with my roommate, Aaron Dell.
Teammate you missed most in the offseason?
Tough question because all the guys are great. I did miss my morning talks with Justin Braun. We usually talk every morning and have a good laugh. Joe Thornton and Brent Burns too, they are hilarious guys who keep things light.
What is your individal focus for training camp and this season?
This training camp I'm looking to further my game and continue to work hard for a roster spot.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
Im looking forward to playing hard and getting back to the Stanley Cup Final.
